See You Later...

Summer Fun Bash Blog Hop

Happy Day Everyone!!!  Welcome to another Magnolia-licious challenge!  This time, the Magnolia-licious DT and the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog DT have teamed up for one spectacular SUMMER FUN BASH  BLOG HOP!!!  WOOP!  WOOP!

The themes for this event are BEACH, BARBECUES/PICNICS and/or FISHING!  There are prizes you can win by entering your own creation.  You can get all of the details on the Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge BlogThere are 2 ways to enter to win too!

FIRST... you can proceed through the Blog Hop in search for letters that, when unscrambled, will form a 3 word sentence.  When you figure it out, email it to Suzanne at sjdean0574@yahoo.com.  You will have until July 31st to email your answer.

SECOND... create a SUMMER PROJECT with the theme 'Beach, Picnics/Barbecues or Fishing' using only Magnolia stamps.  Enter it into the InLinkz on the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog by July 31st.

So, if you've come here by way of Cabio's blog, then you're on the right track.  If not, then start from the beginning at Sharon's blog so you can be sure to collect all of the letters in the scramble.  Be sure to make your way all the way through my post to pick up a letter from me!!!

Here goes!

 See You Later!!!

This sweet little girl is 'Tilda Gone Fishing'.  I've paired her with #614 Ocean Background.  Neither are in stock at Magnolia-licious right now, but I'm sure they will have them back in stock soon.  The sentiment is also from Magnolia.  It's called 'See You Later'.  The shells at the bottom were stamped using Magnolia's #446 Sea Shells, and then cut out and put up on dimensionals.  The dp's are from the My Mind's Eye - Lime Twist 'Fly A Kite' collection and are available at Love To Stamp.

I colored the images with a combo of Copic markers and watercolor with DI's.  Here are the details:

Copics:  E0000, 000, 00, 11, 13, 41, 42, 43, 44, 50, Y21, R20, 30

DI's:  weathered wood, tumbled glass, black soot, scattered straw, spiced marmalade, wild honey, antique linen, vintage photo, barn door, dried marigold, walnut stain, peeled paint, shabby shutters

Here's your letter.....    " l "
(it is a lowercase l, as in 'lovely')

Up next on the Hop is Linda.  She's extremely talented and I'm certain has something spectacular to show you!  I hope we're filling you with lots of inspriration for your own project : )  I can't wait to see what you enter into the challenge!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Ciao,

Angie
